Get on the bus this summer as you, your intrepid teacher Jason McInnes, and your fellow Deadheads gather for this eight-week adult education music class dedicated to exploring and performing the music of the Grateful Dead. The class includes hands-on instruction, group rehearsals, and opportunities to jam in a relaxed, collaborative setting. Whether you’re a guitarist, bassist, vocalist, keyboardist, drummer, or other instrumentalist, you’ll gain new insight into the Dead’s music through playing it among a generous, encouraging community.
Journey back to the era of flannel, grunge, and iconic acoustic performances in this unique music class for adults! “MTV Unplugged: The Acoustic ’90s” offers a deep dive into the legendary live sessions that epitomized the decade. Join the Band with Music Crew In Music Crew we’ll focus on working together to play as a band!. All instrumentalist and vocalists are welcome to join. Musicians from all experience levels are encouraged. Both beginning and experienced musicians/singers will find value in balancing collective work and individual expression.
Journey back to the era of flannel, grunge, and iconic acoustic performances in this unique music class for adults! “MTV Unplugged: The Acoustic ’90s” offers a deep dive into the legendary live sessions that epitomized the decade. Join the Band with Music Crew In Music Crew we’ll focus on working together to play as a band!. All instrumentalist and vocalists are welcome to join. Musicians from all experience levels are encouraged. Both beginning and experienced musicians/singers will find value in balancing collective work and individual expression. Music Crew is an eight-week class that happens on Wednesday evenings, July 9 - August 27, 2025. There are class credits available to attend all eight, four classes (dates of your choosing), or individual classes (dates of your choosing. The show will feature local performers Maria McCullough, Grace McCullough, Gracielx aka g.sparx and Jason McInnes. In addition, traveling from Flagstaff, AZ will be the impassioned musicians Blue Rivera, Xipe Rivera, and The Wimp Dogs (Philip Dawkins and Dave Pischke). AND, good dirt farm and will be selling some of their beautiful offerings. Gracielx aka g.sparx will be offering their children’s books for sale, as well as heart medicines and candles they made that are inspired by the book. They will also have free coloring pages for young ones. Contribution: $5 to $25, with no one being turned away because of a lack of funds Please bring a chair, or blanket for sitting (and we'll have some available if you forget :) Accessibility: The concert space is wheelchair accessible. There is a composting toilet and access to unfiltered drinking water. The path to both is covered in wood chips and a little uneven at points.
