Located in Albuquerque, NM at 225 Saavedra Rd. SW, near the corner of Bridge and Islta (right next door to Chispas Farm).
Eight 120 min clases – Wednesday at 6:00pm, July 8 through August 26 or Friday at 10:00am, July 10 through August 28.
Join the Band
In Music Crew we’ll focus on working together to play as a band!. All instrumentalist and vocalists are welcome to join. Musicians from all experience levels are encouraged. Both beginning and experienced musicians/singers will find value in balancing collective work and individual expression.
Playing MTV Unplugged!
Taking inspiration from MTVs Unplugged, this eight-week adult music class, will guide you in pulling a band together as you learn to play, sing, and perform the sounds and styles that defined music in the 1990s.
The content of, and Jason’s teaching approach to, Acoustic 90s considers the needs of beginning, intermediate and advanced musicians. This course offers a stage dive into a hands-on experience learning and performing music by iconic artists of alternative rock, grunge, pop, folk-rock, jam bands, and singer-songwriter favorites.
Whether you’re a guitarist, bassist, vocalist, keyboardist, drummer, or other instrumentalist, you’ll gain new insight into music through playing this music among a generous, encouraging community.and arrangements.
Our band repertoire of will include songs by
Concrete Blonde • Radiohead • Bob Dylan • Liz Phair • Bruce Springsteen • Nirvana • Blind Melon • Pearl Jam • R.E.M
. . . and many more artists.
Attend group classes, private lessons or a mix-and-match of the two to work with your schedule.
Class/Private Lesson Credits
Credits will allow people to engage with the Music Crew experience this summer, even if they will be out of town for a class here or there.
Purchased credits are redeemable for any combination of group classes and private lessons.
Each credit can be redeemed for
One 120 minute group class
or
One 30 minute private lesson
Each credit has a rate of $40, with discounts available when they are purchased in packages.

A package of credits must be used by the same student each lesson.
